INVITATION TO AUTHORS
We seek to publish materials relating to the quality of people’s experience of society, industry and economic activity as members or stakeholders. Proposals for books on these themes and books relating to co-operatives or the social economy are welcome.
In addition to books we are interested in research monographs and training and development materials, exercises and case studies.
An outline proposal should be sent in the first instance to the Books Editor, New Harmony Press Ltd by E-Mail to;
books@newharmonypress.com
The outline proposal should not exceed 1000 words, and should include a list of proposed chapter headings.
Unsolicited manuscripts or electronic texts are not accepted.
In addition to the proposal, an indication of the sector of the market that the book will address, and why should be included giving an indication of the kinds of organisations and people who might be interested. In the first instance this should not be more than another thousand words.

Author contract
All contracts are tailored to individual circumstances but our contracts contain as standard
• A clause that ensures that once our publication costs, including management fee, have been covered all surpluses on sales are divided 60 % to New Harmony Press and 40% to the author.
• A clause that provides that if New Harmony Press discontinue publication of a work we return the copyright to the original author.
Investment in our authors
We will ensure a minimum of 80 % of any surplus at the end of the financial accounting period arising from our publishing business is reinvested in the publication of new works or encouraging research for new publications.
