Statement

The New Harmony Press Ltd is a company limited by guarantee with articles of association to establish it as a member based co-operative publisher. As a publisher we seek to support publication of materials directed at co-operative, credit union, trade union, and social economy organisations concerned with community, family, social justice, workers organisation and labour standards, economic democracy, management and organisational development, peace and reconciliation, environmental sustainability and alternative technology.

In addition to books we are interested in research monographs and training and development materials, exercises and case studies.

For the list of our current publications, prices and how to purchase go to our Sales button.

We publish the International Journal of Co-operative Management in association with the University of Leicester. For information on submitting work for publication in the IJCM go to Journal button. To view back and current issues of the Journal press the Archive button.

As a co-operative our assets are in our human capital and our values. We stand for a people centred mutuality which is at the core of our commercial and ethical standards for doing business. Our author’s contract sets new standards in fair treatment for authors. Go to Books button under How to publish through New Harmony Press for details.

We try to live and work according to the values and principles as laid down in the International Co-operative Alliance Identity Statement. Go to Co-operative Identity button for more details.

We have two additional divisions for activities under New Harmony Development, our Training and Organisational Development division, and the New Harmony Consult division. Our members offer a wide range of specialist consultation. See Development and Consult buttons for more details of these services. For background data on our members see the individual member contact buttons. For visitors from the Spanish speaking world Cristina Simone from Argentina has most of her text in Spanish.
