International Journal of Co-operative Management
What kind of materials do we publish?
Firstly, refereed academic papers of between 3,000 and 5,000 words. We aim to carry between three and six in any one issue.
Secondly, we have research reports which are refereed but can be rather shorter at between 2,000 and 3,000 words. These can be interim reports of ongoing research programmes or they can be speculative or reflective commentaries on the work of other researchers.
Thirdly, we have case studies which are subject only to an internal review and may be longer or shorter than 2,000 words depending on the substance.
Fourthly, we open our pages to parties acting within the co-operative supply chain or environmental context to receive notices and reports on their activities and viewpoints. These are published within our Management Reports or Opinion sections of the Journal.
Finally, we are always pleased to publish good, balanced reviews and longer review articles on books, conferences or cultural events that have a direct relevance to the co-operative agenda in its widest sense.
The editor looks forward to offers of materials for consideration under any of the types of contributions outlined above from experienced academics with publications in the areas addressed.
Contributions are also welcome from newly graduated PhDs with sections of their research to publish, postdoctoral fellows with interim or final reports of research, co-operative CEOs or general managers, functional heads and presidents, and experienced elected or appointed co-operative board members, trade union representatives, development officers, educationalists, technologists and environmentalists.
Materials should be sent as E-Mail attachments in Microsoft Word format to the Editor, Dr Peter Davis at the University of Leicester.
